To be honest, I don't like most men either, but that doesn't stop me from celebrating the ones I like and studying those that I find interesting. Maybe gay men are better at showing their appreciation because it is a way of community-building. Maybe hetero women like to keep their hunk-worship private because they fear social retaliation (in the form of a certain type of young men who think that anything that women like is "gay" and asks for "punishment").

Another slightly distressing thing is that there have been requests of a similar blog about women. I say "distressing" because I'm sure we could make a very good blog about Chirayliq women, but why not any of the millions of guys who like them, too?

It's a way of showing that we don't take any person for granted, especially not handsome and lovable men, "for their price is far above rubies."Ainur Elmgrenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05503629261796601589noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7532136220616334351.post-489365846518181682008-08-07T16:58:00.000+02:002008-08-07T16:58:00.000+02:00Yeah, I noticed this Finnish forum discussion abou...Yeah, I noticed this Finnish forum discussion about Chirayliq when googling "Chirayliq" recently. Yay!

It's funny how they feel the need to point out that Chirayliq is "(for heteros)".

Although Chirayliq most certainly is not aimed at an exclusively straight audience, I think it is a bit exceptional (if I may say so myself) that it is made by straight women, from a straight female perspective. For some to me inexplicable reason this is a very rare thing. There are a lot of blogs and websites by and for gay men about attractive men, but very few made by and for straight women about the same subject. :o(Tinethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11442329710467703684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7532136220616334351.post-13799983825832054832008-08-07T15:30:00.000+02:002008-08-07T15:30:00.000+02:00Haukansilmät...!Haukansilmät...!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
